Dr. Elizabeth Burns is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Burns graduated summa cum laude from Emory College with a double major in Biology and German Studies. She completed medical school and her dermatology residency at Emory University School of Medicine.
Following her training, she joined a small private dermatology practice in Atlanta, where she helped lead and grow the practice for over 20 years. After practicing dermatology in Atlanta for many years, she was excited to relocate to Colorado and join the Clearview Dermatology team.
Having experienced severe eczema as a child, Dr. Burns brings a personal understanding of skin disease to her work. This experience shapes her compassionate approach and commitment to patient-centered care. She specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancer, as well as chronic skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
In addition to medical dermatology, Dr. Burns has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology, including laser treatments, Botox®, dermal fillers, and Sculptra®. She enjoys helping both men and women look and feel their best, focusing on subtle, natural-looking results.
Dr. Burns has been named one of Atlanta’s “Top Doctors” for several consecutive years and is pleased to bring the same high standard of care and expertise to her patients at Clearview Dermatology. She looks forward to serving the Colorado community and building lasting relationships with her patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Burns enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family.
