What to Expect During Treatment


Most Excel V+ sessions last 15–30 minutes, depending on the treatment area. You might feel a mild warming or snapping sensation as the laser pulses. When larger areas are treated, topical anesthesia may be offered to reduce discomfort. There is typically mild to moderate swelling in the areas treated for 24-48 hours after treatment.


Afterward, your skin may appear pink to red and swelling may occur over the next two days. Results often begin to appear within days and continue to improve over several weeks as the treated vessels naturally fade.
